Serving southeastern Wisconsin for 20 years, we are the trusted source for quality dance education in a loving family atmosphere.

At Lake Shore Dance, we instruct dancers as young as 18 months through 18 years in ballet, tap, jazz, pointe, Hip Hop, lyrical/modern/contemporary,  Acrobatics, and acting for dancers . Our progressive curriculum ensures that al of our dancers receive exceptional dance education!

Our complete program encompasses the four pillars of dance education:

  • Training: Fully coordinated dance curriculum, founded in ballet, and covering a wide range of dance techniques.  Dancers learn strong dance foundations supported by strength and flexibility training under the careful and experienced eyes of our instructors.  Our program is progressive in nature, insuring that every dancer receives a whole technical foundation in dance.
  • Artistic and creative development: From the children's level all the way through the advanced levels, dancers learn to use dance as a form of personal expression.  Classes all include age-appropriate creative, improvisational, and/or compositional activities to develop artistry and creative thinking skills.
  • Community Outreach: Lake Shore Dance believes in using the power of dance to unite and build our communities.  We actively participate in community functions and donate our services to assist other organizations in their goals.  Our pre-professional performance ensemble works tirelessly throughout the summer raising funds and awareness for "The Ability Center", now raising over $30000 for their cause.  Our performance company performs throughout the community and collects food donations for the food pantry.
  • Performance:  Performance is an essential part of dance training and Lake Shore Dance offers multiple performance opportunities for our dancers to participate in.  In addition to our spring show that our entire school participates in, we also have a Studio Performance Company that performs in community events throughout the summer and presents the annual Nutcracker performance, we have our pre-professional, not-for-profit ensemble that fundraisers and performs in our benefit concert, and two branches of our award winning competition teams.
Come see what our "Commitment to Excellence" means!

In the news.....

Lake Shore Dance Premiere Team dancers from Cedarburg, Port Washington, and West Bend just returned from their second competition event in Oregon, Wisconsin.  The teams were magnificent and represented the training and commitment to excellence our curriculum installs so well.

All of our groups danced beautifully and many pieces placed in the overalls.  4 of the 5 top scoring group dances of the weekend were Lake Shore Dance pieces - amazing!   The best part of these awards is that all of these pieces were works of art that stood out because of our dancers' amazing commitment to performing!

Our soloists, duets, and trios also represented the studio extremely well!  Many were recognized for performance qualities and high levels of techniques.

Congratulations to our Premiere team!   Here are a few outstanding recognitions from the weekend~

Lydia K  of Belgium Wisconsin and Mackenzie S of Port Washington Wisconsin won first overall for their jazz duet!

Mackenzie S of Port Washington Wisconsin won first overall for her solo!

Congratulations to Ally W of Grafton, Wisconsin for having the highest scoring solo of the entire weekend!

A huge shout out to Ally W of Grafton, Wisconsin, and Elizabeth K of West Bend Wisconsin - both girls were hand selected by a talent scout to have their dances submitted to Movement Talent Agency in LA for consideration for representation!

Port Washington's Senior Large Group "Somebody Told Me" won "Best in Show"

Port Washington's Pre-professional Small Group "Rule the World" was the highest scoring group of the entire weekend!
